Campitello di Fassa is the perfect destination for lovers of cross-country skiing. Between our charming town and the nearby Mazzin, there is a specially designed area for cross-country skiers with different, well-marked tracks (9.8 km) suitable for all levels.
Nearby you can find the areas of Canazei, Passo San Pellegrino-Alochet (which has the largest number of km of slopes: 17.7) and Pozza di Fassa-Ciancoal, for a total of over 40 km of slopes.
Val di Fassa is also home to one of the best ever amateur competitions of cross-country skiing: Marcialonga Ski, an unmissable event for fans of the discipline that is now in its 45th edition.
